The cowrie shell is an important symbol that is steeped in a rich, ancient tradition in Africa. It symbolizes both spiritual connection to the ocean and goddess and material, earthly wealth. Get all the power of the cowrie shell with this regal Cowrie Shell Medallion Necklace. The necklace is a black, collar-style necklace with 3 cowrie shells on the front. It has a large circular medallion hanging from it that has an outer layer of cowrie shells with a traditional African design of brown and blue beads on the inside. It will fit up to a 16” neck.
